DOLPHIN SWIMMERS STRIKE AT JOURNAL STAR SWIM MEET!

Nine IV Dolphin swimmers participated in the 2009 Journal Star Swimming Championships in Peoria last Saturday.  Gunnar Jauch, Nicole Pocivasek, Noah Dean, and Brittnie Dean all placed FIRST in each of their individual events!  Lindsay Raineri brought home two firsts and an 8th, and Jacob Pocivasek captured another first place to go along with two runner-up finishes.  Luke Veronda had a second and two thirds, Madison Aimone placed 3rd, 4th and 5th, and Amie Knaflec placed 8th, 10th, and 15th.

22 teams sent athletes to this meet.  WELL DONE, DOLPHINS!
